Promotion-Tools AG is an owner-managed, independent sales and live marketing agency with headquarters in Schlieren and a branch office in Lausanne. As a member of the international SSI network, Promotion-Tools AG is present in 28 countries throughout Europe. We design, integrate and realize sales and live marketing projects for SMEs and large companies and develop and implement project-related digital solutions.

For our head office in Schlieren we are looking for an immediate start:

Junior Communication & Community Manager (on/off field) (m/f/d) 80-100%

Your mission:

You take our projects to where they originate: into the field. You are regularly on site at promotions, activations and events - and turn them into content that picks people up: authentic, fast, true to the brand. During the week, you produce, write and publish content for our channels and keep our community active.

What you do with us:

Field (Fri/Sat) - Experience projects & secure content

- Two working days per week (Friday and Saturday) on ongoing customer projects

- Depending on the project, operational role in the field (e.g. team leader or assignment in sales/promotion)

- Create photo and video material on site (behind the scenes, team, setup, activation, short original sound bites)

- Build content base for production the following week (clean handover/structure)

Office (Tue-Thu) - produce, write, publish

- Cut/edit video and image material (short-form-first, quick cuts, subtitles, hook)

- Write captions, LinkedIn posts and internal updates

- Plan and implement posting frequency

Community & Newsletter

- Monitor, respond to and escalate comments and DMs if necessary (according to guidelines)

- Activate community (questions, surveys, calls-to-action)

- Operationally create and send newsletters (HubSpot, possibly CleverReach in the future)

- Prepare content from projects, team stories and customer highlights

Reconciliation & reporting

- After assignments, brief reporting to project managers (what went well, what is content-relevant, material handover)

- Comply with approval process with direct supervisor

When you fit in with us (must-haves):

  • Very good copywriting in German (confident, active, error-free)
  • Video/editing skills (short form, tempo, subtitles, hook)
  • CapCut is part of your everyday workflow
  • Basic image editing for social media (Canva and/or Adobe like Photoshop/InDesign - expandable depending on skillset)
  • Community management mindset: clean, friendly, fast
  • MS 365

Plus points (nice-to-haves):

  • Newsletter experience (HubSpot or CleverReach)
  • Basic understanding of meta ads / paid social
  • Collaboration on simple campaign setups or content preparation for ads
  • AI basics in everyday content
  • English and/or French
  • First experience in the event or promotion environment
