The Bubble as a Retail Format
Following the success of the large CoffeeB Bubble, we’ve taken the brand concept a step further for a new application: more compact, more flexible, and right at the point of sale. Two custom-produced Mini Bubbles bring CoffeeB right into select Migros stores. The unusual shape creates visibility in the supermarket and clearly sets this activation apart from traditional POS displays.

The setup serves two purposes: From Monday through Wednesday, the space functions as a pop-up shop; from Thursday through Saturday, it becomes an active tasting area. A promoter invites customers to try the product, explains the CoffeeB system, and guides them through the purchasing process. Unlike a traditional short-term promotion, the Mini Bubble remains at the location for at least one to two weeks—and at the Wynecenter Buchs for about two months. This creates visibility over a longer period of time, and CoffeeB becomes a recurring part of customers’ everyday shopping experience.
Even the compact format requires well-organized logistics: Three event technicians are responsible for setup and takedown, with about four to five hours of setup time per technician per location. A total of six Migros locations are planned: Zurich City, Buchs Wynecenter, Altstetten, Dreispitz Basel, Rheinpark, and Bülach Süd. The first two locations have been implemented or are still active; four more will follow in the course of the year. An eye-catching format that brings together brand presentation, product experience, and sales right where the purchasing decision is made.
