Our promoters gain exciting and educational experiences and impressions during all their assignments. In December, we at Promotion-Tools were able to implement a cool assignment at the Arosa Humour Festival with a client. For this, we also needed promoters who were on duty for us for 11 days. One of them was Sandro. It is our great pleasure to share his impressions with you. This field report is intended to give you a small insight into the everyday life of a promoter at Promotion-Tools.
Arosa Humorfestival 2023 - Field report Sandro
When I was given the opportunity to take part in the Humorfestival in Arosa as a promoter for Promotion-Tools, I had no idea what to expect. What followed was a week full of unique experiences, laughs and unforgettable moments. Once again, working as a promoter proved to be exciting, fulfilling and inspiring. In this blog post, I would like to share my experiences and give an insight into the world of a promoter for Promotion-Tools at one of these great events.
I have been able to carry out many assignments for Promotion-Tools. However, this assignment was something special and new for me, because I stayed overnight in Arosa for the whole period of the assignment. This made the whole thing feel more like a short break – despite the daily work. I was on my own for the whole week and responsible for the client's stand. It was cool to have that responsibility and I was able to learn a lot from it. Every day started at 10 am with a hearty breakfast that prepared me for the day. After breakfast, I usually had a little time to myself before the assignment started. During this time, I was able to explore Arosa and recover from the previous day. Since the festival tent was located in the ski area, I usually set off an hour before my shift started. I have never had such a unique and, above all, beautiful commute.
The atmosphere in the festival tent was full of humour and joy. The assignment was therefore one of the most fun and exciting I have ever experienced. Interactions with the various festivalgoers filled my working days, and there was always something to laugh about and discover. It was definitely an intense week, but one with a good atmosphere and unforgettable moments. Although I was alone the whole time, I never felt lonely. I was always warmly welcomed by everyone on the festival grounds and felt like I was part of something very beautiful.
My working hours varied depending on the day of the week. But I was always on my way home by 10 p.m. at the latest. The way back to my accommodation was always my highlight of the day. I always decided to walk down the mountain and could enjoy the breathtaking view.
In summary, I can say that my day as a promoter at the comedy festival in Arosa was an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere, the people and the opportunity to share so many positive emotions inspired me. It is work that is not only fun, but also enriching. The world of promotion offers so many unique experiences and opportunities that it's hard not to be excited about it. The versatility of the work and opportunities that come with being a promoter is one of the reasons why this job is so unique.
